RYOICHI KUROKAWA

RYOICHI KUROKAWA is a Berlin based multidisciplinary artist from Japan.

L.E.V. 2021 PERFORMANCE

Kurokawa grew up in the countryside near Osaka. His works focus on human senses and emerge from analog representations of inherited nature, which he transforms into digital streams of fascinating images and emotions. In addition to the visual, he also considers audio, vibration and the sense of touch to be a central element of experiencing his work. Kurokawa works with the concept of synesthesia, which means one sense is perceived through another. The eye sees audio, the ear hears color.
