"KITE"

The design philosophy of the studio is to create beauty by removing the unnecessary and focusing on the essential. All designs are simplified yet deeply researched, they balance artistic expression and practicality, East and West, past and present. The studio takes inspiration from Italian design, in particular from the 60s and 70s, but in a deliberately more minimal and universal language, perhaps more Japanese. This seems also to be part of the success, to manage and combine these two languages, Italian and the Japanese, to create something hybrid, unique and universal.

Hong Kong is also a constant source of inspiration. The dualisms of east and west, past and present, art and technology best represents the studio's professional development and design language.
