PALEWORKS is a creative studio located in Berlin, Germany. Founded by Yağmur Ruzgar and Ozan Akkoyun, the studio is dedicated to creating tangible and digital objects as the output of their collective’s varied influences. Ranging from art direction, editorial content creation, naming, packaging and branding to public art, spatial installation, still-life photography, print, website, and digital design, their work comes from the admiration of materials, urban spaces, and everyday routines.

Yağmur has studied urban planning, which was then followed with a master’s degree in public art. Ozan has completed two bachelors, one in graphic design and another in textile engineering, followed by a master in media art and design. With their different backgrounds, they use a multidisciplinary approach to create a foundation for art direction, identity design, art installations, styling, product design, photography, and editorial writing.
Although these are different definitions and areas of application, the designer duo believes that creative professions overlap in many respects and are mutually beneficial. For this reason, they like to focus on topics and concepts that span more than one subject area or are not tied to a specific category: reason why their production also includes a collection of shirts and interior design items.

A perfect example of their multidisciplinary influences is their Flow structure: a hanger aiming to blur the line between different fields - art to architecture, fashion to exhibition design.
This modular grid essentially functions as a clothing rack, however, depending on the wish, space, and need, it offers various areas of utilization: it can be used as a household good, in a gallery as an exhibition system and a comprehensive system for various kinds of retail spaces.
