The artistic world of Julien Colombier is dreamlike, magical and disturbing at the same time. It is full of jungles and colorful tropical forest which play with the limits of figuration and decoration. The artist repeats his geometric and plant patterns in an obsessional way, creating a hypnotic organic environment for the viewer. His work describes a world without man and how it was before and after man's disappearance, His art is strongly influenced by biblical references such as the apocalypse, the flood, apparitions, divine lights, hell and paradise. The artist regularly collaborates with brands(such as Cartier 2015 and Chanel) customizing their stores.
