“CONSTANT CHANGE 31”
Plywood and Paint, 89 cm Diameter

She studied architecture in Lodz, Vienna and London and worked on a wide range of projects in Russia, the UK and Malaysia for the last 14 years. At some point Anna realized that she needed a side project, which would be more artistic and which would give her the opportunity to creatively express herself and explore ideas she finds interesting.

“CONSTANT CHANGE 6”
Plywood, 130 cm Diameter, 21 cm Depth

Her artworks focus on abstract, three-dimensional pieces that work by reflecting light – with the overall effect dependent on the viewer’s perspective. The central concept of her work is the interplay between light and shade, contrast, and the repetitive patterns created by the folds and hollows in the work.

3d Hand-Folded Light-Resistant Paper (103x153x10 cm)

Anna's inspiration comes from all sorts of places: architecture and minimalism are probably the strongest ones but she is also inspired by geometry, origami and chip carving techniques, which are popular in southern Poland.

COMMISSIONED ARTWORK
3d Hand-Folded Light-Resistant Paper

The works are made from archival, light-resistant and acid-free paper, or plywood. All the paper made pieces are folded and assembled by hand with meticulous attention to detail. The works are professionally framed in wooden frames with a front glass which eliminates reflections and filters UV rays.
